LYN CODDING
IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Evelyn Margaret “Lyn” Stook Codding, 81, of Idaho Falls, passed away May 25,
2006, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.
She was born April 28, 1925, in Verona, New York, to Arthur J. Stook and Eunice E. Ott Stook. She grew
up in Verona and graduated from Verona High School. She then attended New York State Agricultural and Technical Institute
in Canton, New York, and served her internship as a hospital dietician at United Hospital in Port Chester, New York. She
then worked as a dietician at Samaritan Hospital in Troy, New York.
She married James William Codding, Jr. July 2, 1946, in Verona, New York. She was a homemaker and
mother. They moved to Idaho Falls in 1957 and have lived here ever since.
She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, the Round Table Study Club, the Show and Share Homemakers
Club, and served as a volunteer at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center from 1961 to 1998.

Daughter: Sharon C. (Ken) Shoemaker of Idaho Falls, ID
Brother: Robert A. (Marion) Stook of Verona, NY
6 grandchildren & 7 great grandchildren
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Memorial services were held at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 27, 2006, at the Idaho Falls First Presbyterian
Church, 325 Elm Street, with Reverend Dr. Dennis Falasco officiating.
Burial was in Fielding Memorial Park under the direction of Wood Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers
the family suggests donations to First Presbyterian Church, 325 Elm Street, Idaho Falls, ID 83402. |

JIM CODDING, JR.
IDAHO FALLS, ID -- James William Codding, Jr., 81, of Idaho Falls, passed away on February 3, 2007, at his
home.
He was born April 17, 1925, in Amsterdam, New York, to James William and Jessie May Edwards Codding, Sr.
He grew up in the Keen Valley, New York area. He enlisted in the Navy soon after graduating from high school spending most
of World War II in the South Pacific. After the war, he graduated from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, New York,
with a degree in Chemical Engineering.
He married Evelyn Margaret Stook of Verona, New York, on July 2, 1946, in Verona. He started work with
General Electric in Schenectady, New York, in 1949, moved to Idaho Falls with Phillips Petroleum at the Site in 1957 and
retired from EG&G in 1981. He and his wife purchased 40 acres in 1963, and built their "ranch" raising and
boarding horses. He also loved music and was an avid reader.

There was no memorial services or funeral as he wished.
Burial was in Fielding Memorial Park under the direction of Wood Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers
